Concrete repair and leveling in Tulsa
Not every crack needs a new slab. Sort the damage first, then ask whether patching, lifting or replacing actually fixes the cause.
Read the damage
Fine shrinkage cracks that stay tight are common and mostly cosmetic. A crack with one side higher than the other, a panel that tilts toward the house, or a slab that rocks underfoot says the support underneath has changed. Measure the height difference at trip edges and note whether it grows between seasons. That record helps a contractor decide between repair and replacement.
Three kinds of fix
Patching and sealing fills cracks and spalls so water stops getting in. It does not raise anything. Lifting pumps material under a sunken panel to bring it back to grade; it works when the slab is still in one piece. Replacement breaks out the failed section and pours new concrete on a corrected base, and it is the only fix for a slab that is shattered or badly heaved.
Ask each bidder which method they propose, why, and what they expect to happen after the next dry summer. A lift that ignores a leaking downspout or a flowerbed that floods the edge will likely need doing again.

Sidewalk repair is the owner’s job
Tulsa code makes sidewalk maintenance a private responsibility. Under Title 35, section 601.F, an owner given written notice has ten days to repair, and every day after that counts as a separate offense.
